Flash Forward

I wrote this poem/potential lyrics a few years ago that I thought I’d share with the web.

Here goes:

We chilling here on Boston Pier

We living life which seems quite unclear

We don’t know where we’re going to

But we just let the moment guide us through

Flash forward, 2 minutes and 17 seconds

Reality can be a constant source of gain

It can also lead to our demise and loads of pain

The future holds the key of light

We need to get there and begin the flight

The world’s a road made up of thoughts

Artificial intelligence made up of ones and naughts

We’re searching for cures and immortality

But unfortunately we have to snap back to reality

Can we actually use what has been provided

Perhaps the answers are there, we’ve just been misguided

Flash forward, 2 minutes and 17 seconds

Let’s push it to the limit, lets flame our emotions

I’m talking Science and Physics not witchcraft and potions

Brain concepts floating outside the core

Our future and fate knocking on the door

Electronic magnetic microwaves

The chronospheric eater of days

How can we move our atomical mass

What needed element, what needed gas

Can we explore the continuum of time and space

And if we get there, can we change the human race
